Last weekend, I was at Target stocking up on batteries and such for the upcoming snowstorm when I saw sales racks covering half the women’s department. While I’m not one who usually shops for clothes at Target, I couldn’t resist taking a look. I ended up leaving the store with two dresses and a sweater plus the batteries, naturally.
I’ve fallen in love with this cheery red sweater, mostly because it reminds me of Moschino’s recent pop-tastic fashion collections. Of course, the jump from Moschino to Target makes me think of that fabulous scene from The Devil Wears Prada when Miranda Priestly schools Andy on the color blue…
Consider this look my homage to fashion trends that trickle down to the masses. I do love finding cute things at affordable prices.
As for the pants, they are from Old Navy, and they are my go-to pair for when I am substitute teaching. I bought them in November at a Black Friday Sale and talked about them in my November Favorites video. I, also, have a pair in black and some other colors will follow I am sure.
